1. This morning, I survived my first Hatha yoga class and then made it to work after instead of going back to bed like I wanted.

2. Frankenstein was brilliant. I saw each version once last year, so there was stuff I remembered to look for, and there were some details about the performances that I caught this time around. ronfaure is excellent company, ( Read more... )

The only cinema that was showing Frankenstein did it Beethoven week, so I wasn't able to go :( I'm hoping that after this theatrical run they'll release the damn thing on DVD so I can pause it to get a better look at the nude-colored underpants watch it at my leisure with beer and popcorn. Hooray for yoga and TJ's and handicrafts! *smooches you*

I think there are shows coming up in Irvine, but that's still a huge drive for you, and I have no idea what the schedule is. Boo. I also hope it'll come out on DVD, but I'm not holding my breath.

I wrinkled my nose at the loincloth initially, because of all the times nudity has been appropriate, this story is one of them. But it doesn't cover much at all in back, and the Cumberbum is very nice, indeed.

*smooches you back*

Yeah, this week's not much better because I'm recording on Thursday after rehearsal Monday and voice lesson on Tuesday. *shakes fist at June* BOO! One hopes after two successful theatrical runs they'll realize that there's $$ to be made in a DVD release! Unless it's a rights issue. *grumbles*

I've also heard that some of the people involved, including Jonny and Benedict, who don't want a DVD release. I might be remembering wrong, but I think it has to do with the experience being diminished on a television screen. Hmph. But it would allow lots more people to see it, so I'm all for it.

Which is your favorite Creature/Doctor - Jonny or Ben?

I like next week's version better when it comes to both actors and roles: Jonny!Creature and Ben!Frankenstein. Both Ronfaure and I thought Ben overacted a few times as the Creature because he was obviously having fun with the role, but Jonny's Creature is a little more jarring and scary. And Ben's Victor is a little more what I expected him to be: posh, coldly intellectual, and really very empty. (Ooo, I can't wait for next week!)

I love bagged popcorn-it's lightly salted and healthy and a good snack

Especially when it isn't covered in artificial butter flavor grease! (I must admit ... I wolfed that entire bag down in less than 24 hours. Not all in one go, but it didn't take long at all.)

I have done the same-popcorn with a little olive oil and salt clearly doesn't deserve to hang around lol

Brilliant! I'll call a little later this week to iron out details like where I'm picking you up and dinner and stuff.

If you don't hear from me by Thursday night, it's because I'm an absent minded doofus (see icon), so please call me.
