I think Harry/Luna is my favorite pairing for him. He and Hermione really are too much like siblings, but Luna sees him.

You're sneaky--encouraging a crossover in that way. :)

Actually, I'm glad the mods decided on a no crossover rule this time, or else there would have been an overabundance of Sherlock crossover prompts. However, I know some people adore crossovers, so in that respect, it's too bad.

I do understand the reason they said no crossovers. I see this as giving my gifter more options to choose from; it's possible that none of the prompts sings to her, but she's been working on a SSHG at Torchwood (for example) fic for months and needs a push to finish it. That's why I listed all those fandoms there. Plus, two of my ten favorite Exchange stories are crossovers; one is Doctor Who, and the other is Hayseed's The Vicar of Dibley fic.

OK, I know I've read the Vicar of Dibley fic, but I haven't read the Doctor Who one. Sounds like good fun!

Now I'm sitting here trying to figure out how in the blue blazes to cross SSHG with Alanna of Trebond and Olau.... It would almost have to be a "lost in a good book" type of situation. A Beka Cooper cross would be cool, too!

I put Alanna next to Twelfth Night to illustrate how much I like gender disguise plots. (I should have included Mulan, too.) I don't know why I'm drawn to them; I just always have been.

The SSHG/DW one had them helping the Ninth Doctor, and it was several chapters long, but I can't remember the title or even what round of the Exchange it was. Pretty recent, though, because I knew enough about DW at the time the fic came out to understand it, and I haven't been watching DW for very long.

I was waffling about participating this time, so I didn't sign up right away, but I finally decided to take the plunge. (Obviously.)
