I've suffered serious judgement failure on water rides - we got so saturated on an autumn visit to Legoland that Son One got a complete Lego designer outfit from the site shop (and Lego brand clothing is expensive) and the adults had to stop at an outlet shop on the way home and then change down to the skin in the loos. No other way I'd have acquired knickers with Snoopy on them...

I'm usually prudent when it comes to water rides, but when Boo is part of the equation, prudence goes out the window. She conned me into getting on a river rapids ride last spring, and we got drenched then, too.

I've heard the same thing from my cousin's kids, who went on Space Mountain with the lights on. They don't even bother with Disneyland any more, preferring Magic Mountain and its REAL roller coasters.

We had a great time, despite the fact that Boo and I were walking like robots for an hour after getting off Splash Mountain. I told her we'd come back in a week or three, and we'll hit everything we had to miss yesterday.

Hurray for Disneyland! Too bad about Squirt, though- that's difficult. I'm glad she and C ended up doing Pooh- that's a great ride and may work Squirt back up to the faster rides- those cars are not still! Hee, our mistake on our last trip to Mouseville was doing Splash Mountain too late in the day, so we were all shivery by the end. :D And I do love to Tiki Room, cheesy as it is :D Good luck with your busy day, and I hope your sun burn feels better soon!

I went on Pooh once, and the motion of the cars made me slightly seasick. Chris loves it, however, and she can't stand the drop on Splash Mountain, so it was the perfect time to split up.

I also like the Tiki Room, despite the flowers' petals clicking audibly as they sing. It's a nice place to rest the feet for a quarter of an hour.
