While rock is pointedly absent, I am totally mouthing the words with Coolio (I can't rap... foo). I miss my two Weird Al ( Read more... )

DAMMIT I have been wanting to watch the pre-1995 Video Yearbooks for like, two days now, and I missed them?!

Yes, you did. But so did I; caught the tail end of 1994, and by "tail end," I mean that little "dootdootdoot" thing with the rewind button flashed before my eyes just before 1995 started.

I always seem to miss these things. Oh, sure, I'll magically tune into VH1 whenever it's having the Top 100 Music Videos of the '90s playing, but this? Yeah, I'm off to youtube xD

Well, VH1 doesn't really show the videos anyway; Fuse actually plays five or so videos from each year. It's usually more or less pop-based, but considering pop in the early '90s was alternative, they can't really shove it aside.

Oasis and Smashing Pumpkins are pretty winsome. Here's to Eiffel 65 showing up...

Nah, no Eiffel. Well, from what I saw. Shortly after the start of '96, I had to go back to sleep.

I usually tend to tune in right in the middle of the marathon, which is nice since I get to see the other half, but "DAMNIT!" because I miss... you know, the first. *rolls eyes at self*

Dude. I'm sick, shut up.

That song gives me goosebumps every time. So intense.

Yeah. "It's better to burn out than fade away". Heh. I do like "Hands Clean" though. Other than that, Alanis has sort of fallen off the radar.
