i'm off to afghanistan monday! CRAZY BUT TRUE! so i'm currently packing and stuff, and watching my beloved shows!

Oh wow, no way! Are you enlisted? If so, you'll most definitely be in my thoughts and prayers. Will you have any internet connection or is there some way that I can drop you a line once in a while to check up on you? :)

i will make a locked post later for adresses and stuff (i so want to send out christmas cards, lol) but yes, i'll have inet where i work. i'm a soldier, not an officer, and this is my first mission, which feels great :D I did my conscript year, then a year in what was called the Nordic Battlegroup (NBG) which were supposed to be deployed within ten days if Sweden and the EU wanted to send us. They didn't, but i got recruited to afghanistan instead. not so bad, i believe.
