I'm trying to catch up on some school work and I'm not tired yet, so I figure why not keep going!  I'm listening to a lecture at the moment and then I'll have some questions about it to answer.  After that, I have a case study on Trichotillomania to finish.  It'd be nice to finish this stuff so that tomorrow I only have to worry

LOL, I get what you mean on the 'torturing characters' thing, though I actually look forward to those parts, lol. For some reason, I enjoy breaking my characters apart(particularly Satoru from Scattered Petals) because then it makes piecing them together again so much more beautiful. ♥

That's a lovely way to frame it and I think if I'm going to get through this middle section, I'm going to need to keep thinking about it like that. Part of the problem I'm finding with writing something that is a continuation of other pieces is that I'm so attached to my characters. My bf and I were doing laundry last night at his dad's place and I was working on NaNo. He said, "Hey Kate, are you okay? You look upset."
I didn't even realize it, but I was totally emoting for my characters. Haha!
