I had a delicious barbecue with pinkthing999 and I invented a special new spicy barbecue dish called Steaks Finchley! It is some posh steaks marinaded in my personalised masala sauce with fresh ground roasted whole spices including cardamoms, fenugreek, cumin, cloves, dried chillis, black pepper and fiery North African harissa chilli paste! *blinks* I just had a discussion recently about how "c***" is one of the few gender-specific cursewords out there. Unless I have the word wrong, that is. She's using it inappropriately. On behalf of the rest of us on this side of the pond, I apologize for her mangling of the English language. I know we stole it from you, the least we could do is treat it -and its curses- well.

Down here in Australia it is not gender specific.

In fact it's a very blokey way of either being really rude or being really affectionate towards ones blokey friends.

Well, now that I think about it there's two four-letter curses starting w/ a C, and each one is a gendered part of anatomy, so I'm surprised it's not gender-specific for you.

I love barbecue food. Somehow sausages taste best when cooked outdoors.

Especially when marinaded by keithlard!

I love barbecues too so it is a shameful oversight that I have not been invited to any up till now. It is June!

It is ok if it is all expenses paid and all the sossidges I can eat :D

Otherwise I'll have to lure you to London by wafting barbecue food under your nose in an olfactory temptation worthy of the Bisto Kids.

They are all tender and juicy and hot and spicy, like perfect khoftas or shami kebabs! Mmmm! It is especially fun cooking Indian foods on a summery afternoon while listening to jazz music, a bit like in Seinfeld where Kramer and Newman are making sausages in Jerry's kitchen while listening to polkas.
