Fire Emblem: Hasha no Tsurugi begins! (Vol 1, Ch1, Part 1)
Yes! It's finally the debut post of keith_ltd's main project: Fire Emblem: Hasha no Tsurugi! (The title means "Champion's Sword".) I know a lot of you guys watch (or watched) this comm for doujinshi scanlations, but even if you have no interest (or knowledge) in Fire Emblem, I highly recommend this manga anyway! It's an excellent swords-and-sorcery manga, very classic-y, and the art is fantastic and the characters are lovable. I haven't finished reading the entire manga myself, but it's engaging and well done. The story is by Izawa Hiroshi, and the (fantastic) art is by Yamada Koutarou.
For those Fire Emblem fans in the audience, Fire Emblem: Hasha no Tsurugi is a spin-off of the plot of Fire Emblem 6: The Sealed Sword. It's sort of a retake on the plot, adding bits to it, as well as new characters. So yes, there will be some familiar faces in this manga as well.
All of the scanning/editing/translating is done by me, with some awesome lackey work help from squeakyorm, my fellow FE fantard. This is possibly the most challenging scanlation I've done to date -- there is heavy use of tones, two-page spreads that are my worst nightmare and a lot of text imposed over images. I'm still not a pro at scanlating, so this is just further practice. I'm sure it'll help me improve a lot. So, I hope you enjoy this manga and have as much fun with it as I am!
