I noticed the first time I heard them, but you're the first person I've heard SAY ANYTHING ABOUT IT. THANK YOU. I don't get what the big deal is about them.
I hadn't listened to them until yesterday. Wait, that's not true. I had heard the Fireflies song and assumed it was an old Postal Service track that I had missed somehow, then figured it was getting more play because maybe it was in a movie or something.
I've called other bands ripoffs before, but this is by far the worst. Other groups can hide behind the "heavily influenced by" excuse, but Owl City is just a carbon copy.
