TOWIE (ITV2)
I was so pleased that actress Lara Pulver, actress on the new
Spooks, got HELL on this morning's
Saturday Kitchen. SO, we got to see how they make this wonderful looking
banana and custard tart. A disappointed Laura told James Martin during the cooking demo, "You know I'm never going to make this don't you? it's my hell!" but she admitted later, "it does look good". The tart goes with clotted cream and flambeed bananas. James mentioned that it was rare for guest celebs to get voted hell. Laura suggested perhaps it was something to do with her role as someone working for MI5. "It's not you, it's the ingredient," James explained, as to why it was hell. Her heaven would have been boring old salmon.
One of the guest chefs cooked 'poor man's see bass' i.e. grey mullet, a rarely cooked fish on these cookery shows. In my LJ, apart from mentions of 'mullet' as in the hairstyle, I don't have any mentions of grey mullet until now. I have 1 plain mullet and No, I lie - I do have one grey mullet.

I also have one instance of a "stunned mullet" (an Aussie concept).
