Among Singers and Bassists

Quite impatiently Keiyuu sat on a chair in the hall of PS Company. Out of nervousness he bounced his right leg for some time now already, but wasn’t even really aware he did it. Again and again he glanced at the door of the meeting room and frowned. Slowly he started to ask himself seriously how much longer he’d have to wait. When the door finally opened and the members of Gazette came out one after the other, he immediately jumped up.

But none of them seemed to take note of him, as one by one they strolled past him. First Aoi, who seemed to have an urgent appointment with his Marlboros, then Uruha who talked to Kai, seemingly a little upset, as Manager-san had admonished him to be more active on stage, and Kai who listened patiently. In the end finally the singer and bassist left the room.

“Rei, will you follow through with you’re promises now?” Ruki giggled quietly and snuggled up to his boyfriend.

Reita smirked and pulled the smaller man closer by the waist. “Sure. Your place?”

Next to them someone suddenly cleared their throat loudly. If the two would have looked up, they could have seen Keiyuu standing next to them, grinning at them lightly.

“Well, actually, I’d prefer yours, because I just cleaned mine yesterday...okay?” Ruki pursed his lips in a pout he knew Reita could never resist. “It’s a lot easier to mess around at your place...” He giggled and poked his bassist playfully.

Reita grabbed the hand poking him and rolled his eyes. “If you say so...”

Keiyuu frowned and tried once again. “AHEM!” He crossed his arms over his chest and looked at the other two pointedly.

Ruki grinned and placed a quick peck on Reita’s lips. “Yes, I say so!” And then he finally turned around to face the smaller vocalist. “Did you say something?”

The other huffed in slight annoyance. “No, it was quite obvious you couldn't hear anything inside the lovey-dovey cloud you two are caught up in anyways.”

Ruki raised an eyebrow, did he just hear a tiny bit of jealousy swinging along the lines? “Well... sorry. So what is it we can do for you?” He said, sliding his hand down into Reita’s back pocket, the bassist not once loosening his grip on the other’s waist and following the conversation curiously.

With a sigh Keiyuu scratched the back of his head. “Ah no, I'm sorry... I don't want to steal your time or anything. It's just that I... I need some advice, I guess.” He looked around a little uneasily and dropped his voice to a near-whisper. “And I'd rather not talk about it here.”

“Well okay then, see you later Keiyuu-chan!” The vocalist smirked, grabbing his bassist’s ass a little tighter and was just about pulling off with him, but Reita stopped him.
“Whoa, wait a moment!” He looked back at Kra's vocalist who stared at them with big eyes.

“What?” Ruki narrowed his eyebrows looking at the taller man. “You've got a promise to keep, Rei-chan!” For a moment he looked back and forth between him the shorter man, rolling his eyes and eventually mentally postponed his plans of getting laid soon.
“Okay, so what's wrong?” He asked, the touch of annoyance still a little audible, and pointed at the door to leave the building.

The bassist murmured a quiet "Gonna make it up to you!" near his lover's ear before switching his attention back to the other vocalist.

The smallest of the three men hurried to follow the others, his insecurity now in full force. “Well... I just figured you two would be the most, how to say it... ‘competent’ to help me.”

“It's about sex... I knew it.” Ruki rolled his eyes twice, very well visible for both men, who just looked at him a little stunned. "Okay," Ruki pause thinking for a moment. “I think I should do the first investigation here. Rei, would you give us a ride to my place?”

“...sure,” the bassist finally complied, deciding he would just let Ruki do what he thought was best.

Ruki nodded as they all went across the street to Reita's red car, got on and sped off, Keiyuu feeling just slightly nervous in the back seat.
It didn't take them long until the bassist stopped in front of Ruki's apartment building. Quickly Ruki stole a kiss from his boyfriend's lips, sliding his tongue in-between them for a second only.
“For now, I'll take care of Keiyuu, but I will be over tonight, okay?” He smiled warmly before both vocalists got off and made their way up to the taller one's apartment.

They kept silent even as they entered the hall and took off their shoes, Keiyuu waiting for the other to take the lead.

“Take a seat", Gazette's vocalist offered and pointed at the sofa when they entered the living room. "You want something to drink?”

“No, thanks,” the smaller one answered and sat down, his gaze fixed on his own knees.

Gradually Ruki started worrying and decided it was time to stop teasing his colleague. He sat down next to Keiyuu on the sofa and looked at him for a moment. The smaller looked really nervous, not quite his genki self he was used to. Out of habit Ruki was about to grab the cigarettes on the table, but decided against it, knowing Keiyuu didn't like it.
“So, what's wrong?”

The other heaved a sigh. “Well, there's someone I... like,” he finally admitted in a low voice. “And actually I thought I was quite obvious about it, but he doesn't seem to notice at all!” He gave Ruki a look which clearly showed his frustration.

“Sounds like a bassist to me...” Ruki joked grinning.

“Er...” Keiyuu blushed lightly, “well, yeah.”

Ruki blinked in surprise. “What? ‘Well, yeah’ like, ’Well you're right’ or ‘Well, yeah’ like ‘Well, no’?” He couldn't suppress a chuckle even though he felt that Keiyuu wasn't very comfortable with his questions.

The smaller man's blush deepened, but he also couldn’t suppress a grin. “Sorry, I’m just very confusing now, hm?” He sighed again. “I meant that yes, we’re talking about a certain bassist here. That’s why I thought you'd be best to help me.”

For a moment it was quiet before Ruki eventually burst into laughter. "You...you're kidding me!" The vocalist gasped for air, rather unsuccessfully trying to calm himself down a little. "That's just too weird...!" He wiped a tear from the corner of his eyes and looked at Keiyuu. "Okay...so to make this perfect, it has to be Yuura, am I right?"

Keiyuu frowned a little at Ruki's outburst, but nodded his head in affirmation. "Yes."

"So then... tell me a little! What does he know? Does he know at all? Is it even possible? ...I mean, is Yuura gay?" Yet another giggle left Ruki's lips. "And first and foremost, how serious are you?" His tone got a little more dramatic. "I mean, this is probably pretty helpless if you just... you know, just wanna try out, what it's like to have sex with another guy and such..." Eventually, his habit took over and Ruki grabbed a cigarette, since coffee wasn't handy.

"Okay, one thing after another, please!" Keiyuu giggled, his mood obviously lightened a little due to Ruki's energy. "First of all, I'm pretty serious about it. It wouldn't be so hard if I wasn't." He shook his head. "I tried to give him some hints, flirt a little and stuff, but I guess he thinks I'm only joking. And whether he's gay..." The vocalist shrugged his shoulders. "I got no clue."

Gazette's vocalist nodded understanding. "I see..." He paused to take a drag from his cigarette, exhaling the smoke a moment later. "I guess we'll find out about the gay-thing, but I mean, he probably is... Hell, who's not in this freaking company!?" His giggle was interrupted by a cough, before he continued. "How long have you been thinking about him like this?"

Keiyuu thought that over for a moment. "About four or five months, I guess." He slumped back and rested his head on the back of the couch. "We just somehow grew closer lately, as friends I mean, and for me it became a little more."

"Yeah, I noticed that. You seemed to be hanging out more lately... like it's always the two of you." Ruki sighed. "So, what are we going to do about this now?" He thought aloud, not really expecting an answer from Keiyuu. "I think we should do some more investigation here and find out what you're chances are." Ruki placed a hand on Keiyuu's shoulder and looked at him with a serious expression. "But hey, this might turn out... differently. You might just be staying 'normal friends'."

The smaller vocalist sighed again. "Well, if he doesn't feel the same, I can't do much about it. It would be hard, but better to have him as a friend than nothing at all." He smiled thoughtfully. "But hey, what do you mean with 'investigation'? Any ideas already?"

Ruki grinned his widest grin. "You know, I happen to have a boyfriend who happens to be a bassist. We'll just arrange some casual meeting... not that they wouldn't be seeing each other at the company anyway, and I will just force Rei-chan to be a little more talkative than he usually is." Ruki rubbed his hands. "I'm sure he'll find out, how much you mean to Yuura. He might be a dork at times, but I believe he can very well do it... even in a subtle way."

~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~

With shaking lips Ruki planted a soft kiss on his lover's lips, a bead of sweat dripping down his nose and onto Reita's, before he rolled to the side, trying to catch his breath.
"Wow, that was so what I needed." He turned his head to the man lying next to him, eyes closed, and wrapped his arm around the other's bare chest, nuzzling against his shoulder. "I love you, Rei-chan," he whispered.
The golden evening sun sent its last beams of light into the small bedroom, where the both of them had been since the minute Ruki had entered Reita's apartment.

The bassist’s hand lazily stroked his lover's sweaty back. He grunted in satisfaction, whispering a hoarse "Love you, too" back before falling quiet again. It seemed all he wanted to do now was to drift off into blissful, post-sex sleep.

"Hey... Rei?" The vocalist nudged his shoulder slightly. "Aren't you curious about what that thing with Keiyuu was?"

Reita cracked one eye open and sighed. He turned towards the other and pulled him into a loose embrace, tucking his head under his chin. "Sure. Spill."

A low chuckle escaped Ruki's lips.
"It's Yuura. Keiyuu is sooo in love with his bassist. That's why he wanted to talk to us, because we are such a harmonic couple. Like, we should know what to do, since it's the same formation and stuff... and sure, I do see some parallels between you and Yuura."

Now definitely more awake, Reita frowned a little. "Parallels? What do you mean?"

"Well, first of all, you are both bassists and as such share a certain mentality. You two are rather quiet... and you are both bassists. Oh wait, I said that already. But anyway, that explains a lot." Ruki couldn't hide the evil smirk. "But don't worry, you look a ton better!"

Reita rolled his eyes. "Thanks," he replied dryly. "Now, why was Keiyuu so nervous about it anyways? Did he really need your advice on sex?" The bassist drew back a little to look at his lover's face skeptically.

"Well, obviously not, since he hasn't gotten to that stage yet." Ruki grinned back at his lover. "He was just nervous, because he doesn't know how Yuura feels and I guess seeing us probably doesn't help much." The vocalist began placing soft kisses on his lover's chest, nipping at the soft skin just slightly. "Maybe I should write a book..." He mused for a moment, while his hands began wandering over Reita's bare form. "-How to seduce a bassist- A Study Guide for Vocalists. What do you think?"

The taller man chuckled. "Great idea, as long as your book is based on a lot of 'fieldwork'."

"I'd better do some research then..." Ruki kissed along Reita's neck, his hands grazing over his chest. "But I need some input, so tell me what you like."

"Hmm, let me see..." Reita wove one of his hands into the vocalist’s hair, massaging his scalp. "I like it when you're gentle. But I like it even more when you're a little rough."

With a smirk the vocalist rolled Reita on his back again and in one fluent move got on top of him, pressing their bodies together.
"A little 'rough', huh?" He looked down, into his lover's dark eyes and smiled, before he began kissing along his neck. He drew a fine line of saliva up to the bassist's ears, where he then dug his teeth into the soft skin, making Reita moan just a little. "You like?"

The older one hissed a weak "Yes" and slid his hands up and down Ruki's back, lightly scratching with his finger nails.

The smaller couldn't suppress the deep sigh that left his throat, enjoying the pain-laced friction on his skin. "Hmm... me, too." He continued kissing and nibbling down Reita's body, biting every now and then. Ruki scratched his fingernails along the bare sides for his lover, continuously moving lower until he reached his bellybutton, dipping his tongue into the small cave. His hands wandered down the bassist's thighs prying them apart just a little more.
Ruki looked up into his lover's face, seeing the pleasure he had caused.
"Aki... tell me..." He whispered.

"Hm?" The bassist looked down questioningly with glazed-over eyes.

Their gazes met and Ruki blushed, seemingly without a reason.
"Tell me... what you thought, when you touched me for the first time. How did it feel? Did it change?" The vocalist covered Reita's skin yet with more kisses, further south until he reached the bassist's flesh and without hesitation, slid his tongue over it seductively.

Reita gasped at the sudden contact and fisted one hand in the sheets under him. It took him some time to come up with an answer, barely able to think with the kind of attention he was receiving.
"It was exciting and I -" he moaned deeply, "I... just couldn't get enough of you. The feel of your skin, you're... ah... you're taste..." He bit his lip in order not to cry out loudly.

For an instant only, Ruki broke the contact, smiling to himself upon the other's words. "Were you scared?"
Without further warning he wrapped his lips around the other's length and began massaging it with his tongue, while his hands ran all over Reita, feeling his heat, his speeding pulse and the shiver he bestowed upon him.

"Only..." the bassist swallowed dryly, "in the beginning. Then it just felt... so right... aah, Taka!"

Bobbing his head up and down, Ruki took in more of Reita's manhood, feeling how the other was getting closer to his release. He reached up one hand, blindly searching for the bassist's.

Upon finding it, Reita immediately entwined his fingers with his lover's and held them in a fierce grip. All speaking ceased for now, the only sounds in the room being the ones of pleasure the bassist was making. The urge to thrust deeper into that sweet mouth became almost overwhelming, so when Ruki moaned around him he couldn't help but snap up his hips sharply.

The vocalist withdrew a little in surprise, but kept their connection, sucking fiercely. One hand holding on to Reita's while the other one began sneaking in between the other's buttocks, carefully nudging their way inside. Ruki could feel Reita's body tense up, shivering violently, as he was nearing his peak.

The finger teasing his entrance finally sent the bassist over the edge. "Taka!!" he moaned loudly as his release hit him with full force.

Patiently Ruki swallowed the white, sticky fluid, catching every last drop and enjoying the taste of his lover.
He purred just slightly when he crawled back up to Reita, who was still trying to steady his breath again. The vocalist captured the other's lips for a moment, before snuggling right next to him.
"Aki... you're awesome, you know that, right?" The smaller traced his fingers over Reita's face, along his lips and chin. His voice was no more than a whisper when Ruki spoke. "I was scared when we first made love..."

Reita had had his eyes closed in bliss, but they flew open at his lover's words. "What?" he asked, one of his hands coming up to lightly stroke Ruki's side. "But why?" he inquired softly.

"Because I have not always been the sex-expert I am now, you know?" The vocalist teased before he fell to a softer tone again. "I loved you, really, but still I couldn't stop all of my doubts. And it had been new for me, the whole sleeping-with-a-man-thing." He kissed him then. "But eventually, it didn't matter, because you stayed with me... and I am glad about that."

Reita couldn't suppress a happy smile at that. He pressed his lips onto his lover's firmly, holding him close. "God, I love you," the bassist whispered before he continued the enthusiastic kiss.

Ruki smiled into the kiss, returning it equally as enthusiastic and pulling Reita closer again. "I love you, too." He murmured in between, sinking into that kiss.

They continued for a while until Reita pulled back a little with a grin. "Well, one thing is for sure. You really know how to seduce a bassist."

*~*~*~*~*~*~*~

Yuura stood outside Kra's practice room, waiting impatiently. He had gotten a message on his cell phone form Gazette's bassist with an urgent problem he needed to discuss. When he had mentioned that to his friend Keiyuu, the petite vocalist had smiled a little nervously and hurriedly left the building, probably heading home. It had been a slightly awkward situation, but the bassist didn't think about it more. Eventually he would find out what this was about, and so he waited. Reita was supposed to pick him up and he had suggested they'd go for lunch somewhere.

Some minutes after their scheduled time, Gazette's bassist finally turned around the corner of the hall. He wore baggy pants and a light jacket, on his head a baseball cap, and waved to Yuura in greeting with a smile.

"Hey!" The other bassist greeted back. He had to admit, he was slightly nervous, but tried his best not to show it. He knew it had something to do with Keiyuu, who all of a sudden had started to be overly busy whenever Yuura just wanted to hang out. So maybe Reita knew.
"So... I'm hungry, let's go eat somewhere."

"Okay," Reita nodded for the other to leave and together they made their way to Reita's car. "What did you have in mind? Ramen?"

"Yeah, sure, sounds good." They reached the parking lot and Yuura waited until the beep and a short flash of light signaled the door to be open and got in.

Reita took them to a small restaurant not too far away, the short drive silent except for some small talk. After they had sat down and placed their orders, the blond bassist sipped his tea slowly with a contemplative look on his face.

Yuura coughed, because what else was there to do, while waiting? It wasn't an awkward situation, there was just nothing to talk about really, because after all they were just workmates, buddies maybe, but not like best friends. He wanted to ask what was going on, but on the other hand didn't feel like rushing anything. So silence was just fine.
Eventually their meal was brought to their table and both bassists began eating with a simple ‘Itadakimasu!’
After a while though, Yuura felt the urge to finally ask.
"Hey, Reita-kun," he slurped some more of his noodles, "What's going on?"

"Well..." The other continued chewing his mouthful for a moment before swallowing. "I guess you noticed that Keiyuu is acting somewhat... strange recently, no?"

"Yeah...it seems like 'mini-genki' is a little... off..." Yuura nodded.

"Do you know why?" Reita asked casually, continuing with his ramen, but not taking his eyes off the other bassist.

"Well... since you got me here, I had hoped you would tell me." Yuura sighed, fishing the last of his ramen out of the soup. "It seems it has something to do with you and Ruki... he kept talking about the two of you ever so often."

Reita looked to the side a little uneasily. "Really?" He finished his noodles with one more bite. "I thought, if anyone knew what's going on with Keiyuu, it must be you. Aren't you two quite close?" the blond inquired, wiping his mouth with a napkin.

"Yeah... that's what I thought." Yuura sighed again and looked down at the remains of his food. "But lately, he isn't telling me stuff..." He looked up again at his fellow bassist. "So, do you know what's going on?"

"Uhm," Reita shifted in his seat. "Maybe you should ask Keiyuu himself... but then again, he may be too embarrassed to tell you about it." The blond man frowned.

"Embarrassed? Why?" Yuura looked at the other quizzically. "We've always been so close, we could tell each other everything." He shook his head, more to himself. "This is weird... I wonder what happened."

With a sigh Reita propped up his chin with one hand on the table. "You see, I really know what you're feeling right now. I was once in the exact same position as you, only with somebody else."

"I'm not... entirely sure... what you mean."

The other shrugged. "I was really concerned when he started avoiding me and giving me strange looks. Not really what you're used to from one of your best friends, huh?" He smirked. "But well, in the end Ruki always has to be blunt."

"Yeah, strange isn't it?" Yuura laughed nervously. "But until now, he hasn't told me anything."

"And if he was trying to? Maybe not with words, but with actions?"

Kra's bassist looked thoughtful for a moment, going through a couple of events in his mind, he had thought to be... different. However it just didn't strike him. "Well, he seemed to be flirting a bit more, but basically he has always been like that... but then all of a sudden, he stopped. I don't know."

Reita sighed again and pushed his soup bowl out of the way to lean on the table, a little closer to the other man. "Okay, let's make this short. What if I told you Keiyuu likes you, as in more than a buddy." He looked him straight in the eye. "Would that bother you?"

Yuura's eyes widened a little. This couldn't be! Had he been so... slow? As the thought sank into his conscious, things suddenly started to make sense; every hug, every smile, every unexpected touch.
"You... mean, he is... like... in l-love..." He paused staring rather blankly into Reita's eyes. "...with me?"

The blond bassist shrugged with a smile on his face. "As I said, you'd better ask Keiyuu himself. But really now," his gaze turned serious again. "Would it bother you? I mean," he lowered his voice, "that he's a guy and stuff."

A blush crept up on Yuura's cheeks, this was getting a little to personal for his liking. "Well... I mean, he is my best friend and I guess that won't change..." He paused and thought for a moment. "Think I should really... talk to him..."

For some more time Reita looked at him thoughtfully, but then he nodded his head smiling. "Do that. And well, if you need someone for advice or something..." He shrugged vaguely.

The other bassist smiled back hesitantly, already deep in thoughts. "Thanks... I guess..."

"Okay, that's the wrap for today!" Mai finally announced, taking of his guitar.
Keiyuu smiled and looked at his band mates fondly for a bit, everybody packing up now. He then grabbed his own things, waving to the other three. "See you tomorrow!" he called, turning to the door after one last longing glance at his bassist.

He had to talk now.
"Keiyuu, wait!"

The singer stopped and turned around, surprise clearly visible on his face. "Yes?"

The bassist turned his gaze to the floor, searching for words, but his mind could come up with nothing more than "Can we talk?" for the moment.

But these three words already made Keiyuu nervous. "Uhm… sure." He looked to the side where Mai and Yasuno were still chatting casually and then back at Yuura. "Here or...?"

"Well... no, lets have a coffee or something, okay?" Yuura pointed at the door and he was sure Keiyuu understood that he meant their favorite café just around the corner. The taller tried to smile, but out of habit he looked away.

"Okay," the vocalist agreed and walked next to the other in silence.

They reached the café, ordered and sat down. A sip after another the coffee disappeared and the silence between them grew unbearable. Eventually Yuura couldn't stand it anymore.
"Do you’ve... got to tell me something?"

"Eh?" Keiyuu looked up from his cup and stared at the bassist. "What do you mean?" he asked seemingly clueless, though his cheeks were soon covered with a light blush and he avoided the other's gaze.

"Come on... I know you’re hiding something from me!" Yuura reached over the table and guided a strand of hair out of the other's face, which caused Keiyuu to look at him again.

The smaller man bit his lip. "I..." he started with a small voice and then drew a deep breath, looking at Yuura with pleading eyes. "I don't want to lose you."

Yuura smiled, a nervous smile, but nonetheless a smile to ease his friend's concerns. "Hey... I don't want to lose you either." He sighed taking a more serious tone. "But something is bothering you, that is driving you away from me..." Gently he stroked Keiyuu's cheek. "And I don't want to see you worried anymore."

The vocalist's blush intensified, but hesitantly he leaned into the warm hand on his face. "I-I like you... a lot," he finally breathed out. "Probably more than I should, but I just can't help it! I want to spend time with you, but it's too hard for me when I don't know if I'll ever stand a chance to... to be closer to you. And it's okay if you don't want that! I just want to be sure you'll not push me away for good!" A little surprised by his own rant Keiyuu looked at the other nervously.

At that moment, Yuura knew that it had been good he was prepared, because even though he had known, at Keiyuu's words his heart started beating faster and without advice, he might have fainted.
"Keiyuu-chan... I'm not sure yet how things will turn out, but I know that I like you... I can't say whether it's 'love' yet, but if you give me a chance, I'd gladly try... this. Us, together." And then he couldn't suppress a smile.

For a second Keiyuu could just stare, his mouth slightly open, but then a smile lit his face. A single tear even slipped out of his left eye and he hurriedly wiped it away, giggling in embarrassment. "Sorry, I... wow." He giggled some more. "That's more than I expected and... just..." He shook his head, still smiling. "Thank you."

The taller scratched the back of his head, unsure of what to do next, but he was glad Keiyuu was smiling again.
"So then... Should we start out with... a date?" He blushed fiercely.

"O-okay...," the vocalist stammered softly. "Like, now?"

"I don't know."

"..." They looked at each other helplessly for a moment, before Keiyuu started laughing quietly.

"What?" The bassist blushed even more and desperately hoped that Keiyuu wouldn't lose his patience with him, because, unfortunately, he was absolutely clueless what all of this would mean. Of course he wanted to try, wholeheartedly, but other than a vague idea, he just didn't know what the vocalist would be expecting of him. Hell, he wasn't even sure what he was expecting of himself! It was all too new and unfamiliar, and even though he might not want to admit it to his friend yet, this would be his first same-sex relationship.

"Sorry, it's just," Keiyuu chuckled again, but looked at the other with a fond smile. "This is so awkward. We are awkward." He hesitated for a second, but then took Yuura's hand in his shyly. "Maybe we should just try to be ourselves again, let things go their way. And see what will happen."

"Okay...? I'll try, but... just as you said, it's still a little awkward. So... what now?" The bassist said, eager to do something, anything to just end the awkwardness.

The singer thought for a bit and then grinned. "Well, we could go all cliché and watch a movie!" A simple, but nice idea. They wouldn't even have to talk that much, just sit there. In the dark. Next to each other. Maybe holding hands or-
Keiyuu blushed. "Uhm... oh, there's a game I wanted to buy! Could we just go shopping?"

"I'd go for the movie." Yuura smiled, a bit more at ease. "So, tonight then?"

Keiyuu sighed inwardly. "Okay." Well, he had suggested it himself, how could he possibly back out now? And it didn't have to mean anything either. Yeah, just watching a movie, all innocent. "My place, but you bring the movie, alright?"

"Sure, maybe I ask Reita for a video." Yuura smiled, ignoring the hint of disappointment he thought he heard in the other's voice. "What time?"

"How about 8 o'clock?"

"Sounds good to me."

~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~

Yuura hadn't quite expected to find Reita standing before him in shorts only, when Gazette's bassist had opened the door. Kra's bassist blinked at the sight before him, as the blond stood there with tousled hair and a rather large mark on his chest. He could feel his cheeks heat up and he was just about to turn around and leave, but then again he wasn't quite sure how he would explain to Keiyuu that he didn't bring a movie. It would surely make the situation... awkward again. So all he could say was "Uhm...hi." Trying to ignore the rather obvious signs of what he had been interrupting.

"Hi." Reita stared at him for a moment, but impatience to get the unwanted visit over with took over soon. "What do you want?"

"Who's at the door, Aki?" A voice from behind him called and soon Gazette's vocalist was standing next to his lover, a yukata loosely over his small frame. When he saw the other bassist, he smiled. "Hey Yuura-san, come on in!" He couldn't deny his curiosity.

"I am... are you sure it's okay?" Yuura had noticed the death glare from Reita.

The other bassist sighed in defeat. "Come in." With that he turned around and disappeared into his bedroom, leaving the other two men alone.

"I'm very sorry for intruding like this..." The taller of the two remaining bowed low. "I just wanted to borrow a movie from Reita-kun." He explained, trying to get out of any sort of questioning he saw himself running into with Ruki around. "I didn't know you were... busy." Yuura bowed again.

"Having sex to be precise, but we were actually done." The vocalist smiled, absolutely not aware into what kind of situation he was getting Yuura in. "Sit down, please."

There was no chance of hiding the deep shade of pink on his cheeks for the bassist. "I'm sorry."

"Rei! What are you doing? Come join us, would you?" The vocalist shouted towards the bedroom door.

At that point Reita came back in, now dressed in jeans and a T-shirt, lightning a cigarette.

He looked at Yuura with just a slight bit of curiosity.

All three of them sat down, Ruki and Reita next to each other on the sofa, Yuura in an opposite chair. "Hey Rei, Yuura wants to borrow a video..." He paused for a moment, before it struck him and he looked at Kra's bassist again. "Has this something to do with a romantic movie-evening with Keiyuu-chan?" Ruki raised an eyebrow.

Yuura coughed. "How do you know?"

"Hmm... just a guess." The smirk on the vocalist's lips proved him lying though. "Well, because it must be the first time you ever asked for a movie from my boyfriend."

Reita raised an eyebrow at him. "How do you know it is?"

"Well, first of all, I practically live here... or you at my place, so I would notice, wouldn't I?" Ruki moved a little closer to his lover, placing a hand on his thigh casually. "So, yeah... plus, you usually borrow DVDs from Saga. And if you wonder how I know that... hey, we are a big 'family' after all, aren't we?"

Yuura smiled a little embarrassed. Those two really seemed to know each other inside out. In his mind he compared it to himself and Keiyuu, and even though they were close, it wasn't half as close as his two fellow colleagues.
"So... uhm... can I borrow a DVD?" Yuura eventually asked, after he had looked at his watch.

Reita just rolled his eyes and took a drag from his cigarette. "What kind of movie would you like for your date?" he asked Yuura with a smirk.

"I'd be happy about an advice... really, I have no clue."

"Hmm," the blond bassist stood and walked over to the shelf holding his DVD-collection. "I don't really have a wide range of romantic flicks, but I guess you wouldn't really want to go there anyway. Maybe a comedy?" he glanced at his lover. "Any suggestions?"

"Apart from the fact that the movie really doesn't matter, I think comedy would be good." Ruki paused and thought for a moment. "How about 'The Emperor's Groove'?" He giggled, holding his hand in front of his mouth. "And don't pretend you don't have it, Rei, I know it must be somewhere!"

Leaning over the coffee table to stub out his Seven Light, Reita glared half-heartedly at the vocalist. Without further comment, however, he sorted through a corner of the shelf and soon held the mentioned DVD under Yuura's nose.

"I'm sure Keiyuu will like it." Ruki giggle before getting up and walking over to his bassist. Of course he knew this was maybe a hint too much, so he slang his arms around the other and planted a generous kiss on his lover's lips, ignoring Yuura for a moment, even though he could feel his stare on his back.

When Ruki's hand began wandering first up Reita's chest and eventually dipping back down into his jeans, Yuura suddenly thought the DVD cover to be extremely interesting. Again he looked at his watch, deciding it was time to leave, surely Keiyuu would be waiting.
"Uhm..." He began hesitantly. “Thanks, guys. I think I should go... Have a nice evening." He bowed and turned towards the door.

But just as he reached it, the other bassist's voice called to him once again. "Don't do anything we wouldn't!"

Accompanied by some sniggering he finally left.
