Wait, it's the first book of a series? Argh! Why is it that every other book I pick up seems to be the first book in a series and I don't know about it! (Frustration aimed at publishers, not you!)

To be fair, the book does end with "End of Book One." And while I expect more, I'm willing to wait.

Oh, I totally don't blame the book or the author! It's just really frustrating when the publisher doesn't mention it on the cover or the back copy or even the inside cover, and you find out when you hit the last page, since I'm guessing most people don't flip to the last page to check if it's a series before reading.

Between you and Tian I really want to read this book but now that I know its a series I'm not all that sure. I have a huge tendency to lose interest in continuing series be it Artemis Fowl or manga and usually just go back after its done or this is a huge amount of it for me to read. I'm beginning to think about just reading the book after the series is done or after the second volume comes out.

Read it! I think it's only going to be a trilogy, anyway.

READ IT. You won't be able to stand the wait until the next one. Honest... it's that good. And I read as well that it's only going to be three books so you won't have to invest too much time in it. It's really fantastic. I'm an adult and have passed this book onto other adults- and everyone loves it.
