fan fiction: Rosemary Who?

Jul 03, 2013 15:45

So...file this under the "I can't believe I wrote this" category (I could actually do a whole series of "I can't believe I wrote this" if I get up the nerve to post the rest). But here is my first attempt to write a "bedroom scene." Those of you who excel at this sort of writing, kindly remember that this is my "virgin effort." Also keep in mind ( Read more... )

this is as close as i get to smut, fan fiction, i love lucy, i can't believe i wrote this, episode tag

I tried to read this...really I did, but not being a Lucy fan it just didn't grab my interest...plus I found it kinda squicked me to visualize Lucy and Ricky like that...don't know why. Sorry.
Try this again with D/V and I'll be happy to give you a in-depth critique.

Well, to be honest, I don't know that I'll ever be brave enough to try again (it's not really my thing,so this may be a one-off), but if I do, you've got a deal. ;).

Sorry for the squick though.

It's probably the Childhood Ruined effect of Rule 34, if ILL is a show you watched when you were a kid. Happened to me when I read some goshawful J/D porn where Jack sang Ernie's (from Sesame Street) 'Rubber Ducky' song as he inserted the toy into Daniel. Then again, there was EVERYTHING in that story to squick EVERYONE.

Most ILL eps I've seen are in my adulthood, so I'm not squicked. kehwie does a good job writing sexytimes!

Oh, dear heavens...that sounds beyond squick-y (is that a word? squicky?). At any rate, I would be horrendously squicked reading that. Actually just reading your comment about it squicks me. *shudders*

Thank you again for the lovely compliment. (Weird side trail--I found it easier on a personal level to write for Lucy and Ricky because they are married. My own moral/ethical code coming into play there. But I actually didn't set out to write the whole thing at all--I had planned to tag the episode, then fade to black. But I never could find a good "fade to black" point--each time I tried, it was just too abrupt. So I kept writing. And well, this happened.)

THIS IS AWESOME & MAKES ME WANNA WATCH I LOVE LUCY.

You should post it to AO3 -- there are only 4 fanworks for the ILL fandom archived there!
