I just watched this! (Though I had seen it before on YouTube without subs, it's so much funnier when you know what's going on of course.)
I'm glad I'm not the only one who thought of Nino's enthusiasm for guys in drag during his confession!!
Whoever was timing that music was doing a great job, it made everything ten times funnier. (Especially since they played it after Nino's "You're a man, aren't you!?" but not after Ohno's "I like Hirai Ken!" and just left him to flounder.) Also Ohno singing one of my favorite Hirai Ken songs for 10 seconds! Yay!
And Aiba's confession...T_T Aiba that's called RAPE!
P.S. I think Nino said "Something was hot there" because he rolled over onto a stage light (ouch!)
Nino's enthusiasm for guys in drag cracks me up. Especially when I think of all those times when Ohno was in drag and showed that he didn't mind or even liked it. XD
The timing for the music! XDD I honestly have no idea whether it was intentional or by accident that they didn't play the Hirai Ken song after Ohno's "confession". It LOOKS like they chose to ignore him and I can totally see the staff doing it to him - but on the other hand, he didn't give them the right "signal", because unlike the others, he didn't fall into Aiba's arms, so perhaps they really just missed the moment...? Whatever it is, it's sure funny! XDD
Really? What is it called? I know nothing about Hirai except from what I know of him in relation to Arashi fandom and that he sounds like a counter-tenor, so I don't know his songs at all.
And Aiba's confession...T_T Aiba that's called RAPE!And he doesn't even seem to realize it... v-v" Luckily he added that it's not something he could/would do in reality. (Thank God.) I love how Sho becomes the voice of sanity
( ... )
It's called Hitomi wo Tojite (On the SENTIMENTALovers album, which I own and love). It's a really beautiful (but sad sounding) song. So I was surprised to hear it here, though somehow it fits.
I know "popstar" and it had me rolling on the floor in laughter, because it was SO amazing! XD But I don't think I know the other videos, I'll go and check them out!
Yes, he does seem to have an amazing voice - I heard one slightly more serious song of his and it sounded really good. I quite like counter-tenors anyway, and I like that he seems to have got quite a big range.
T-that being said, I'd totally read a fic with Sho/Nino, Aiba/Jun and Hirai Ken/Ohno...
Can I vote a really loud YES to that corner? Hirai Ken and Ohno duet, mmmm. That would be really interesting, since Hirai Ken sings even higher than Ohno, but they both have such powerful voices. Mmmmm....*happy thoughts*
Ah, Ohno and Nino's turns are so great. The two of them definitely have the best comedic timing in the group, A++++ Though Sho's little adorkable dance of fail ranks up there, as he's clearly learning that his fail is making for good entertainment. ^_^b
I'm not sure how good a Hirai Ken/Ohno duet would sound, because they've got very different sounding voices, so their voices might actually clash horribly; but it would certainly be interesting to hear! (A-and they might just look good together, too... *___*)
Yeah, Nino and Ohno are really good with comedic timing! It doesn't always work, like occasionally their jokes fall flat in shows; but when they're on a roll? They're hilarious! XD
Sho is lovely because he doesn't try to be fail - he just IS. And he makes the best of it. ^-^
(Yay Aiba/Jun! They were totally the most romantic couple on that stage there. XD)
Hi! I-I think I need to go download this right now.
I ...I like to think that what we just witnessed was a short moment of "Ohno is a greater bastard than Nino - and he's the only one brave enough to be a bastard to Nino". Because you know it's totally true.
This is so true!! And I love to see it peek out! Every single time!! (I seem to have overenthusiastic exclamation point going on here , but I don't care . . .)
Aiba's brand of courtship . . .
:O
:O
Thank God for the disclaimer afterward. And my mind went to the exact same bad porn place afterward, if that's any consolation . . . No? O-ok . . .
*shuffles into a corner*
God I love this band so damn much ^_^ Thank you for sharing!!
Whaaa! Again so late with the replies! V_V" *dies* A-and I'm still totally behind answering ANY of your comments or entries, even though I know you've done a few more picspams that I haven't got around to looking at yet. *sigh*
Anyway.
Yes! Download this! It's SO AMAZINGLY FUNNY! XD
And I love to see it peek out! Every single time!!
Totally agreed! ^-^ I love Ohno as the spaced-out cutie (who still lets his mother buy his clothes and doesn't know his own homenumber... oh, Ohno), but what I really like about the Ohmiya dynamics is that it's such an equal relationship. Nino seems to be the far more active one at the first glance, the one who really pushes their relationship forwards; and I don't doubt that he IS more active than Ohno most of the time (who is, to put it plainly, lazy), but when he wants to, Ohno is able to be just as active as Nino and he does know to hold his own against Nino even when he's being bitchy. ^__^

You should check out some of his other stuff. He has a beautiful voice and he sings different styles of music including R&B/Soul as well as Pop. Plus he seems to have a good sense of humor and doesn't take himself too seriously.
Some good songs/videos:
Popstar (I love this PV!): http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_Z88PVxKQNw
Style: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ivHyOrmuyw0
Kimi wa Tomodachi: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=r0RczBpFZhE /pimping>
So, hah.. yeah... You probably weren't expecting all of that info but Hirai Ken was my first favorite male japanese vocalist. ^_^***
