I adored this a great deal and the idea of Sherlock not able to retain his memory when his Mind Palace is everything to him feels doublely poignant--well done :):)

I also love the shades of Memento :)

*grins* The 221b form doesn't exactly lend itself to well-realized stories with satisfying resolution. This is more of an amuse-bouche, designed to whet the appetite for more.
