Well, no new job for me.

This is why I don't tell people about things; because they don't always work out and now I feel/look stupid.

oh well, wasn't the Lord's will I suppose.
I just wonder what is.

its ok. you don't look stupid. I didn't even think it was about you at all. They told you you had the job and you assumed that that meant you had the job. It's their fault for not getting it together.
