Some fuckin' dipshit left his/her dog in a car parked outside Avery Glen yesterday...and today...for over 12 hours. I'm going to refer to this person as a "him" because I like to think that women would be more caring...but I'd also like to think the same of men...so I guess we'll just say the owner

ryan and i are still quite angry about this! we really probably should have just called 911 in the first place. public safety barely cares about the scotties they're supposed to protect, much less strange dogs :/

i seriously, seriously hope the "owner" (using the term loosely here) and all the cops who did jack fucking shit get to experience being locked in somewhere with no food or water standing in their own shit and piss for 12 hours. if it happens to humans, it's a big fucking human rights issue, but if it happens to a dog, it's "oh, well we can't just bust the window and get it out." THE FUCK YOU CAN'T! you'd do it for a child, wouldn't you?!

Yeah, I didn't really know what to do because I've never had to call someone in for locking their dog in a car like that...and of course, we now know that public safety is not a valid option.

I know it. I was so pissed that the cop said the dog wasn't distressed. I mean really. It's been locked in a car forever. Who would be feeling great after that? I almost feel as if we should file some sort of complaint about public safety, but I know it wouldn't do any good. It's just not fair.
