Show Synopsis:
It's the year 2050 and the aftermath of World War III. There is a small group of survivors living on a farm in central Illinois. This group learns of a growing evil called SCARECROW. To save their small group, which has become a family, five of the survivors will travel to Chicago, Illinois to destroy SCARECROW before he destroys them.These five will find themselves being stretched in ways none of them expected and become stronger than any of them would have believed. These five come from diverse backgrounds; cop, stripper, CEO, farmer/mechanic, nurse. But they all have one thing in common: a desire to see humanity continue. And they will fight evil incarnate so see that desire come to life. No matter the cost. (Rated MA)

Jennifer Paulson (Lucy Liu)
A former cop, she made Homicide Department Captain of the LAPD before World War III. She survived the nuclear bomb strike on LA that completely destroyed the west coast. She now resides in Illinois with other survivors of WWIII and, due to her natural ability to lead, is the person her little group of survivors look to for direction. She is a lesbian.
Amie Locke (Kristen Stewart)
Lived all her life on a farm in Illinois. When WWIII happened, and survivors started trickling onto her property, she opened her house to them and gave them food and shelter. She is also a brilliant mechanic, so she can get cars, trucks, tractors, etc. working. She is bisexual.
Shea Hoppe (Letitia Wright)
A nurse-in-training, she was in her final year of nursing school when WWIII happened. She was in Des Moines, Iowa and was one of the survivors to find her way to Amie's farm. She loves to learn, so she is always reading nursing journals and texts so that if an emergency crops up, she knows what to do, or at least how to ease pain. She also is now studying, on her own, basic veterinary care. She is asexual.
Becca Adams (Jennifer Lopez)
A former stripper, she was picked up by a not-so-nice group of survivors. She escaped them and found her way to Amie's farm. She still has trauma from the bad group she fell in with before, but is working through it with the help of her new family and friends. She is also discovering that there is more to her than she ever thought there was. She is bisexual.
Paul Tanaka (Ken Watanabe)
A former CEO of a tech company, he found himself at Amie's farm due to a broken down car. He was travelling cross-country in the aftermath of WWIII, searching for surviving groups of people. He'd intended to continue travelling, but he found himself liking this group of survivors and decided to stay. He is gay.
Warren Williams (Callum Keith Rennie)
He is SCARECROW. He resides in Chicago, Illinois and has completely taken over the city and it's surviving residents. He rules with cruelty and malice. He has no love for anyone. He has big plans to plant his own agents in every surviving community and completely rule. He's a sociopath. He has no sexual identity.
