He actually hadn't been paying any attention to the journals lately - first mistake, considering he'd hounded Bryn for the very same. And now, shrouded in darkness, he's kicking himself for being the worlds biggest hypocrit, unable to be irritated at no one other than himself for his idiocy. Now, he's blind and can't see and he has no idea why.
"Confound this Keep!" He rails, dragging his gun out to try and use the low, eerie blue light it provided.
This whole situation reminded him of when he'd first arrived.
Miss Ryn was much better than him calling her by her last name. She preferred to be on first name basis with him.
She snorted at that. "You definitely have. Of course, if such a world does exist, us actually managing to end up there instead of, well, here, would require luck a hell of a lot greater than what I suspect either of us have had."
She chuckles a bit at that. "Truth, and most've them have happened here in this godforsaken castle. Though apparently to some, the things that I've got back in my world are just as bloody strange as getting kidnapped here."
"Yes, that. I'm still having to remind myself a lot of people here aren't used to that kind of thing. No one'd think anything of a healer in my world."
Yeah, because people in Megamind's world are stupid, as far as Ryn's concerned. Obviously he should just come back with her and... be trapped in a fucking facility. Okay, maybe not the best plan ever. Still.
"If we must. Hopefully we'll run across someone who's got a bit more by way of light."

"Pitiful. One would think that across the multiverse, there would be one world that had a majority of intelligent life instead of..." He gestures.
"Well. I think I've made my point clear."

"My luck seems to be relatively nonexistent, especially back home. Therefore, I suppose we are stuck in each others intellectual company."
His luck sucks.

Try to save someone's life, end up killing a guy and get thrown in prison! Success.
Then she smirked a bit. "I suppose we are. Though in that case, it looks like at least my luck has improved a bit."
Reply
"In this case, perhaps mine has as well."

"Who'd have thought it'd take getting kidnapped to a fucking castle to get a little luck in the intelligent people regard?"

Seriously.
...Well. Maybe not but -- close!

"Shall we commence finding others, then?"

"That would likely be wise. Torches only last so long."
