Ganondorf hadn't had the satisfaction of putting an end to someone since his infection turned him. The blood lust he felt was stronger than anything he had ever felt before and his need to fill it brought him out of the Keep onto the grounds to find his victim.

He is crossing the green about the same time Equius is. You want something else to pounce on, Equius? Here he is. Come at me, bro.

There was indeed something watching Equius. While Nepeta had wasted no time getting out of his sight after distracting him from Alex, she still lurked nearby, perched on a third-story windowsill of the Great Keep.

She was, therefore, perfectly positioned to see Ganondorf's exit, and the inevitable crossing of his and Equius' paths.

His eyes narrow, glaring around until he sees Ganondorf. The thrill of a fight isn't lost to a zombified Equius and he charges forward, only to quickly slow down when he gets near enough to see that the man is larger than Alex and much larger than him. A low rumbling growl creeps through the troll's broken teeth as he lowers his body to the ground, apparently getting ready to charge if he needs to. His lower stomach is still sore and his head still aches after making contact with the ground, but he's still up for a fight.

The minute Equius is in Ganondorf's line of sight, the Gerudo's senses snapped to attention, clouded with raw aggression. Ganondorf is used to aggression, that was nothing out of the ordinary. It was this unnatural thirst of blood, for violence, that added the strongest element of danger. There would be nothing to temper any act committed against Equius. He watched the troll dropped to the ground, and it prompted Ganondorf to dash forward, fist ready to grind Equius' face into the dirt.
