He's been out pumpkin hunting all day, still in ice form. It's something of slow going, considering he's found himself having unintended conversations with them.

Bobby almost passes over the pumpkin by the library, after a quick glance reveals that he doesn't recognize it at all, but he stops when he hears it speak. Its voice is different.

He cautiously heads over, eying the pumpkin.

"Hello?"

"Hey," the pumpkin says, a casual greeting. "You could do it. You look capable."

Okay, he was absolutely not expecting it to actually talk back. Different voice or not, none of the others had been talking back. But hey, that hadn't stopped him from talking to them, so surprise isn't going to stop him now.

"Do what? I could at least give it a try, whatever it is."

"But for fuck's sake," it adds, "be careful. It's a maze down there."

He pauses for a second, because, uh. That was actually really helpful.

"Uh. Okay, I'll check that out. Thank you. Do you have any idea how big of a maze it is? Or where it goes?"

It's quiet for a few more seconds, and then:

"Good luck."

He gives the pumpkin a slight smile.

"Thanks. I probably need it. And thanks for the tip."
