cold weekend in February

This weekend is Marissa's 13th birthday. I know its hard to believe she is growing up so fast. We are going to St. Louis for the Pet Parade tomorrow. It is exciting for us because we love our dogs so much. Other news I am preparing for the Abe Half Marathon in April!

How exciting! A lot of my friends have been signing up for half marathons lately, it's making me interested in trying one as well. Seems like the perfect distance to really challenge yourself without going crazy. (my mom runs marathons and actually did a 100-mile ultra this past fall, so I don't think distance runners are literally crazy, I just don't have the time or interest to train for that many miles)
