I have completed my first week of "official" unemployment. It was interesting - I am forced to ignore my phone ringing - I have spasms everytime it rings and this sudden urge to plunge at it - but I'm substaining. I did have a great meeting with the local tourism marketing committee to disucss the potential for my "new business" in the area. ( Read more... )

My space is hard to get used to, for sure. What dates will Sarah be there? I'm sure I'll be at work but never know, hmmm. So, you going to be tour master of KY?

What are the dates and location for the Canada trip? If it's after school's out (after June 21 or so), maybe I'll see you there!

Sarah's visit is April 2 - 8
Canada is scheduled for June 10 - 17, however, I believe a decision was made to reserve space for next year and begin planning that trip now - rather than attending this year and stressing over it.
We have also determined that my daughter Holly's graduation is falling during Graves (OMG - who plans these things) and my neice Andrea is also graduating end of May -- so I believe a decision has been made to attend graduations from Upper Michigan to Ohio.

Still we are "not committing"

Do you know the location of the Canada trip? Is it VP's old stomping grounds?(sounds like it will be June 2007 now?)
Here's my 2 cents on Canada: Early June is rainy and cold up there and bass season doesn't open until the third week of June, so you should push that back a bit. Oh yea, then I could be there and we could hang out!!
Not that you asked for my 2 cents. :)

Actually for 2007 they (meaning "the boys") are looking at July or Aug. June is too difficult with Festivals and well - now graduations. We have determined that we will have at least two or three Graduations over the next 3 years!
