Ahhhhhhhh! So great! And I loved the pictures. My friends who were staying with us were up at the top, too, and the fireworks scared the shit of of them as well.

omg. SO HIGH! omg. i would have freaked out, i think. all i kept thinking through every single video and picture was "no! too high!" ;p you are way brave for carrying a baby all the way up there! i'd have been doing good to carry MYSELF all the way up there without feeling like i was going to topple all the way back down! :p

but so cool that you got to be there! (one of the guys at work is totally familiar with "my friend keely" at this point, because for some reason a few weeks ago we were talking about homemade baby things, and it was right after your site went live, so i was telling him about you & showed him your site. then the other day he mentioned the DNC being in colorado, and i said "i know! my friend keely.. the one with the site i showed you? got to go to it!!") :)
