Weeell... Let it go. One of my best friends here on lj dislikes one of my favorites couples, but she still read my fanfics about them and I assure you, that pair is A LOT MOOOOOOORE RARE than nichu.

Maybe he/she said that it was rare because, well, it's rare. Deal with it ._.' Nichu is rare.
If he/she didn't/doesn't like it, there's no problem. Personally, I don't like Gerita WW related. It's... Duh, kinda problematic to think about them in that way, historically. But Hetalia is an anime, so it doesn't really makes me uncomfortable... If you take all too seriously(aka history related) these are the consequences... ^^''

Nichu doesn't seem so rare, and I actually like it just fine. But if I think about it too hard I imagine the Koreas sobbing in a lonely corner and have to throw them in too;; And I quite like Korea/Japan, too.
