I've heard kidney stones are the only things that compare to childbirth - and your poor sister- She just had a baby!! :( I hope it passes quickly or the pain at least lets up. That has got to suck.

and I hope that your BIL would have taken her and the baby if it had gotten bad.

*hugs* to her!

Yeah, she told the nurse that she hurt worse than after she had her C-section. I could tell she was in a lot of pain. Luckily it passed the next day, so she's feeling a lot better.

Ugh, having had kidney stones in the past, I certainly feel sympathy for her. I ended up passing one in the bathroom at the grocery store while waiting for my prescriptions to be filled, heh. Anyway I hope she feels better soon!

No way! She's better now. It passed the next morning. Eck, I hope I never get one. I had some abdominal pain myself yesterday, then got sick today..not sure if it's sympathy sickness or just my IBS. The fun never ends.

Wow. I know some people panic in situations like that, but who cares about a copayment when a loved-one's health is in jeopardy? I've heard kidney stones are extremely painful. Although it's a shame that you sis had to suffer like that (especially on Mother's Day of all times) I'm glad that she's not in serious trouble. It's also good that you and your husband were there to help her.
