Sometimes I HATE HATE HATE jazz music

Today is one of those days. I had my first voice lesson today and I was really excited for it. I showed up with a couple of songs and a list of the other songs I want to do this semester. Let me get this straight - you don't like piano music and you want to learn how to sing? No wonder you don't like Elton John or Billy 'fucking' Joel. Anyone who actually needs voice lessons to sing Pop or Rock and Roll is clueless to begin with. That kind of music is the antithesis of trained singing. You'd be better off listening to their recordings and trying to learn a few things about what it means to have something called TALENT.

Too bad you didn't have the balls to sign on or sign your comment. I don't know why I am explaining this to you because I don't owe you a fucking thing but... I have to enroll in a genre specific voice lesson for my major and it was either pop rock, classical, or jazz/gospel/blues... sooo the only choice for me was pop rock and you can just keep your type happy fingers off my LJ if you want to talk about my lack of talent which you know nothing about do you....
