why is it when i dream i can't wake up earlier? the rain didn't help either. so i didn't get up in time to work out. rain on a tin roof and melody purring beside me didn't help either

i always oversleep when it rains. i am only saved by the fact that we don't get much of it and work is only two blocks so i shouldn't be too late.

the goal is to live close to work. i don't live far now but i can't ride a bike, walk or use public transit here.
