my office is being closed. they are moving my work to ft lauderdale. i have a week to decide if i want to follow my work.

the last day is 6/28.

so why can't i transfer to southwest???

well it is their way of saying "we offered you a job but you didn't take it." bs. even though i took the offer and got the "jobs are filled" reply. there are only a few openings so even then my job isn't secure.

10 years is a good run. if they don't have anything around austin then i'm finding another job.

yeah there are worse places. but they have screwed over so many employees i don't even trust them anymore. so maybe i need to work somewhere else?

I lived in the Fort Lauderdale area for a year and worked and went to school there and besides being expensive as fuck, the constant rain and the people sucking..it is alright.

I hope you make the right decision for you!

haha yeah eff florida. i'm still texas bound. going to see if i can put in a transfer request to austin instead. if not it's job hunting time.

even if you don't get transferred to austin, you need to visit in june(12-15 or something) because i will be there and it will be all kinds of fun. or really boring if mel and i can't think of anything cool to do.
