Oh! And how on earth is a D&D playin', SW, grand epic good vs. evil type story lover NOT watched RotK? It's long as hell, yes. baronsamedi would never come close to sitting stillfor it :), but I'm really surprised you haven't seen it yet!
Damn! That was fast. As for RotK, well, after falling asleep during TT, and the fact that I cannot stand the books and really wasn't that greatly impressed with the previous movies, I just haven't really wanted to watch it. Now I've seen every extra there is on all the SW DVD's and am currently working on watching the ones for GoF.
Oh, by the way, Middle Earth RPG was brought up last night in our, um, discussion (to put it politely) of what to play on Tuesdays. I immediately said I would give up my spot to you if that ever happened.
That truly boggles my mind - for me Two Towers is non-stop action. Granted the first book bored me to tears, but the last two...good - not excellent but as landmark fantasy, they were sort of "must reads". Love the movies.
I'd be all about a fantasy game as I've missed D&D greatly. I know nothing about the game mechanics for Middle Earth but I can always learn. But then I'm not looking for new games at the moment, WoW is in my future & then the LC game, I think I'm gonna be tapped out if I want anytime to work on my writing. :)
