USS Macchiato Party!
ATTENTION CREW!
The results are in! Based on overwhelming numbers, the next party will be held on Saturday, July 21st. It will be a backyard barbecue at my house, followed by movie-watching on (hopefully) my shiny new TV.
I'll be firing up the grill at 3:00 PM. Movie watching will begin approximately around 6:00 PM, or whenever we've had enough feasting. The party ends approximately by midnight, or whenever we get tired.
THE DETAILS:
Arrive: 2:00 PM if you're going to help set up. 2:30 if you're bringing items for the grill. 3:00 PM otherwise.
Bring: FOOD. I shall be providing the following: Hamburgers, BBQ chicken legs, grilled chicken breasts, some veggies for grilling, ketchup, mustard, relish, and a massive charcoal grill. I need people to pick/bring items from the list below. Claim one or more items from the list in a COMMENT so that people can see what's already been claimed. Also, if you have them, bring camp chairs, if you've got them. We have a bunch, but if we end up hanging out outside (if the weather isn't too scalding), I don't know if I'll have enough. We might not need them, but I'd rather have extra than not enough.
Costumes: Why not, right? Our First Officer is back in town, so I plan to bring out the green body paint. We haven't done costumes in a while, so bring your craziest!
