He got through the event somehow (that troll girl was surprisingly easy to beat), but beyond that he's just apathetic. After a while, total disinterest in everything gets a little suffocating, however, and Miguel realizes he must find a distraction

[He shows her how he puts the ball under one of the cups, then proceeds to mix them up, going slowly for her first time. Eventually he stops, settling them all in a line again.]

Where's the ball? [Grin.]
