Whoo HOO!!! :)
You're right, that is the best rejection letter EVER!!! And Julianne is right, it's a great story!

I actually considered submitting my werewolf story for Midsummer's Nightmare, but I decided it was too much horror. They'll want something lighter, as mine is pretty bloody and while it has sex, it does not exactly have love. I mean, it ends with one lover killing the other!
But I hope your mummy story gets picked! Best of luck!

I think the thing that would do your story in is the killing at the end! LOL! That isn't quite happily-ever-after! I just hope mine isn't "too" horror. My betas said it was sweet and romantic. Keep your fingers crossed! And I certainly think you should pursue publication yourself!

Your story really sounds really very, very interesting! I keep my fingers crossed for you!!!! Sorry that your other story got rejected but what she wrote sounds good, for that, I keep my fingers crossed for you, too!!!! That´s so great, wish you all the best for your stories!!!

About the reseaching.. therefore I always set my stories in fantasy worlds, it´s much easier... ;-)

Yeah, I hear you. But I am not a big fantasy fan. I LOVE some of it, but there isn't much I will read. Lord of the Rings of course, and I read some of the Narnia books, and I loved David Eddings Belgariad series (spelling?). Give me science fiction ANY time. But then there is research again...! LOL!

Thanks for the kind words!

I know what you mean, I don´t read much fantasy stories, too, prefer science fiction and horror, but for my own writings the most of time I set the story into a fictive world, because of the researching. Maybe one could call my lazy. LOL

I would LOVE that as a rejection letter! new authors get rejected like 5000 times but for that as a first (or is it?) is somethin' special ;D

also, are you gonna be doing NaNoWriMo this year? :)

I wish I could put my shit into fruition! I sit down and have so many ideas but I can't go about the process of writing it. I just have TOO MANY ideas! I have original vampire and zombie novels in my head that I want to put out but I can't put the pen to paper, so to speak =/

Do you have AIM?

I think November is like the STUPIDIST month EVER to have to try and write a novel, except for maybe July. I can't do it! I can write and write, and thank goodness I am again, but I never get half-way there in Nov. Too much going on. They should pick off-months where there are no real holidays. Feb, March, April, May, June, August, September... ALL those would be good!

I used to get published in the late '90s and then sorta fell out. Don't know why. Thanks for being sweet!
