More logistical problems post hurricane, chief of which is phone services. One land line was out for days, and now that we've got it back it's dropping calls. The cells aren't much better. When you call someone, it doesn't ring on their end. You leave a message and they don't get it for hours

Not writing it yet, but reading it. Spent my time reading between 3 books: one just happened to be a post-apocalyptic [by chance--been reading the series for weeks now], and [just for fun] a horror story which wasn't scary enough to make Friday night any worse than it was :), and a cheap romance novel which I finished in one gulp on Sunday.

Brad's a basket case when it comes to food. By Monday when he was out scrounging for ice, he eventually brought back a broiled chicken [which he usually turns his nose up at] just so he didn't have to eat defrosted TV dinners :) But I must admit, that Whataburger on Wednesday tasted fabulous after days of canned food.
