What I want for Chlollie on s10

Jul 18, 2010 15:38

I can't wait for Sunday 25th to be here soon, in the hope that we will get at list a hint of what TPTB has planned for Chlollie on s10.  Big part of my concern about what would happen to my fav ship, is not knowing how many episodes Allison Mack will be in. If she has more than 10 episodes, this can easily work: Chlollie was developed in 8 episodes ( Read more... )

DITTO! :)

Agree with everything. :D

Maybe in the end, they can run off to Star City and have a new, better life there, together? ;)

Besides, Metropolis is Superman's turf. :))

Okay, get ready b/c I have lots of comments. Can't help myself. ;-)

Episode count is key for me too. That's the only spoiler thing I want to know, AM episodes and how many (ALL!!!!) will be with JH.

Emotional breakdown: I know a lot of people want that, but IMO Chloe herself has matured from the emotional girl she used to be, and that started a good while back. Yes I do want her to react strongly to Oliver's disappearance. Feel it? Yes. Admit to herself and others how much she loves Oliver? Absolutely! But I don't see it in character for her to breakdown in a heap of helpless goo. That's not Chloe IMO. I see her using her emotions as fuel, as fire to spark her search. I think her "breakdown" will be a private moment, either alone or for Oliver only. If that makes sense.

THE REUNION: On screen, damn right! Totally want that.

The ILYs: ITA no take backs, no retcons. And YES Chloe should say it, show it, mean it.. first! My thing is that she needs to volunteer this stuff, and in a way it works. She was closed off, shut down to the ( ... )

Thanks for replying. I was eagerly waiting for your comments :)

When I was talking about Chloe's emotional breakdown, I was also talking about something private. You're absolutely right that Chloe wouldn't let herself be weak in front of Clark or the team. I don't care if she's all alone at Watchtower crying her eyes out, I want to SEE IT. To see what's inside. I'd love even more to see it happening with Ollie. Because at this point, he's the only one I can see Chloe really opening up to. He has gained her trust and her heart, he has showed her that he can be, that he IS her bestfriend, and that he'll always be there for her, to listen. That breakdown in front of Ollie, which would mean to let herself be completely exposed, completely soul naked, would show that she really gave ALL her trust and heart to Oliver.

YES. That's one thing about S8.. IMO Chloe, just as much as Clark, was the BFF that Oliver never had, and they grew a lot closer, in spite of all the FAIL! YMMV. Not sure he knew how handle that, and it spilled over to S9. Even though I am not a fan of Disciple.. moving that episode before AJ, then the conversations with HM, Oliver realized how special their relationship is: friends, allies, lovers.. that powerful connection that has the strength to last.

Chloe's talk with SG and MM started to open her eyes, but YES.. Oliver is also Chloe's best friend. Totally agree that Chloe is safer being emotional, being vulnerable and exposed like that, with Oliver. He gets her in ways no one else does, is there for her and she can trust him with her heart.

Totally want her to give her WHOLE HEART to Oliver, totally want that. I made a video called COMPLETELY about that exact thing!

Part 2 of my rambling comments..

OUTSIDE LIFE: ITA it's not who they are, being just part of a couple. Plus Chloe and Oliver are so strong on their own, they don't need to live through each other. There is such a powerful connection there, they can have lives apart as well.

COCKY S6 OLIVER: I know what you mean, I want the snark back I do. But I don't think you're going to get it as much, b/c of all the "Oliver seeing Clark's HEROIC way" stuff. Chloe and Oliver used to be a good sounding board for Clark, challenge him. Yes the haters hated that, but I liked it. Now they sort of parrot back what he says a little (and don't get me going on the JLA/JSA fanwank to Clark's ego and Destiny in Salvation) and even when they "challenge" him with stuff like the "Hug it Out? That's your plan??!!!" with the "You ARE an IDIOT" implied and unspoken ;-), it doesn't have near the bite it once did. Not sure it will again ( ... )

I know what you're talking about cocky Oliver. I also believe that he has grown up, he's not the same guy he was back then s6. He's wiser and stronger, he felt and raised up again, and he's now more a hero than ever. But I want to see a Ollie who doesn't care what other people thinks about him (except for Chloe, now), who uses sarcasm as the best way to defeat his oponent, who enjoys who he is and enjoys the moment. I can see bits of that in his relationship with Hawkman, and that's why I enjoy so much that relationship ( ... )

KC- Something else made me think of Snarky Oliver, then someone posted the Escape scene with him and Clark talking .... grrr.... don't get me going on Clark. FAIL! :-(

Anyway, Oliver's line about "save any old ladies, orphans" loved it b/c here's this normal guy with no powers doing amazing things. Another one of those moments where it's subtle but snarky.. Oliver getting in Clark's face about not stepping up; pushing him to do something already kinda like in Siren.

And Clark's reply is stopping bank robbers. As opposed to saving the world. I don't think Oliver has superpower envy, but I like that he expects "more" from Clark. But back to your point, TPTB have toned it down, kept it lighthearted which was in tone with both the episode vibe and just what they've done with Oliver and Clark in general.

Just came to me the other day, then the video reminded me to share it with you here. Later!
