Very, very good! I really enjoyed this, the way you built up the expense, the use of the darkness, etc., and I thought it was great that you didn't identify exactly what John had become (werewolf or something else) or why. The decision to go back and hunt it surprised me.

Ooooh. Definitely scary. I was also surprised by the resolve to hunt it at the end, but it worked. I enjoyed this.

Ooh, a terrific use of the prompt and an unexpected turn in the story. As things turned creepy, I began to suspect that the hole in the wall might have let something out. Poor John.
