Dad came over to nag again, but for once I do not mind, because he brought me a wonderful magical letter which told me a wonderful magical thing: my appeal is allowed! I am to get money! woot

You go to the building and tell the guy at the security desk your name, and he checks his list and sends you to sit in the waiting room, and then the clerk comes and talks to you to see if you have any papers to show them, etc, and then you get called and go in and sit at a big table. I was talking to two women, both of whom were very nice, and they asked me some questions about what I'd said on the form, and how I was doing, and such, and then they asked if there was anything else I wanted to tell them, and then they said they would make their decision and I could wait for it or just leave and wait for the letter. So I ran away. It is scarier in theory than in practice, and the women were very nice, and they made a point of saying that they are independent from the DWP (which means they don't have quotas, ha!).
Are you going to have a representative? I think it is a good idea.
I do not expect you will get failed again, I didn't, and they are independent from the DWP so they don't have the quotas and such which I think is the only reason you got failed, really.
