Mr Cee was back 'at' work yesterday and it was a day of tech woes for him first thing he started his day with issues with his work computer. They say things go in threes - the second issue was with the house wifi which has also been fluctuating and cutting our all day, The third issue is the robot lawnmower which still did not work even after it's ( Read more... )

That Pilates sounds terrifying. When I read "online," I thought "I could join!" then immediately thought, "Are you crazy?"

You must be in such good shape! Walking and my recumbent bike are more my speed.

Re: board games or card games - I am passionately fond of Trivial Pursuit, but haven't played in years. The Sports category is my Achilles heel. I used to play card games with my mother, but they didn't interest me so she won over and over. She really enjoyed that. I do like solitaire, but took a vow to quit if Biden were elected. I know, weird.

I was quite pleased that I got through the lesson OK and generally was able to do almost all of it - the moves I couldn't do were because I've never come across them before. So that was interesting. All my Pilates classes have been online since lockdown started here. I'm starting to loathe it, but it made a change to have a different teacher.

I like Trivia Pursuit and I'm hopeless at the sports ones as well. Neither of us know anything about sport LOL! I learned all my card game knowledge from my grandmother - she was a whiz at cards.....

The only time I got Trivial Pursuit sports questions were when the answer was "curling" or "caber toss." Which was almost never. It was usually the stats for some ball player I'd never heard of. I barely know football from baseball. (I think the balls are shaped differently.)

I am very glad that my Pilates class is remedial! We do get new moves thrown in every now and again but luckily nothing that sounds like the Corkscrew.

A friend of ours who was vaccinated in mid-January had his second vaccination last week so it shouldn't be too much longer for you. His second jab was exactly 10 weeks after his first.

Yes I forgot my Pilates class is advertised as ‘mostly for over 50s’ and so it’s not really the full Pilates experience. Having said that it was nice to be challenged as I feel in my lessons I’m coasting a bit as I find it easy.

10 weeks since our last jab is coming up in 10 days time. I’m hoping we’ll hear soon.

Thanks - yes it will all depend on the conditions of service but he’s cautiously hopeful.
