It's difficult as our children get older to watch them struggle, isn't it? We're so used to being able to help. :)

I'm pretty much zoomed out too. At least now that the weather is warming up, we may go back to doing our exercise class outside at the senior center. That was working fairly well last year until the weather got too wintery. It's all just more fun and enjoyable when we have other people there!

Yes - I feel quite powerless and it’s miserable for him and his girlfriend as they’d love to buy somewhere together and that’s just not possible for the next year.

I’m finding Zoom tedious. I need to be back in the community.

Zoom...did it once. I was done with it by 30 minutes. It was on Christmas morning so that Sweetie’s dad didn’t miss out on contact (virtually) with people. Oddly enough his dad was bored with it quickly. His Dad facetimes with two of three of the people who were part of it regularly. And his dad was not alone as a grandkid and his girlfriend were actually at his house. Frankly I think it was more for the benefit of Sweetie’s sister than his dad.

I hope to never Zoom again.

It was OK to start with and at least I’ve still been able to continue with my Pilates classes but I’d much prefer to be out of the house and exercise.

Poor Youngest Cee. What a frustrating situation to be in. At least the work has been agreed but a year seems a long time to wait.

I just use Zoom for Pilates and Paracise, which is fine, but I don't want to use it for anything else really.

Yes it’s so frustrating for YC and P as they are such a sweet couple and really want to live in their own place together :(

I’d just like to be out of the house now - I think it would be better if I had a separate room I could leave set up as a gym but I really don’t have the space.

It's good there is some progress on YC's flat. And really good that it is not going to cost him. I hear so many stories of cases where the leaseholders have to pay.

Yes I keep reminding him that he could have a huge bill for all this work but it’s so frustrating not to be able to buy somewhere with his girlfriend. They are such a sweet couple and really want their own place.

I haven't done any Zoom, as it's hard as my desktop is in a small room. I certainly wouldn't want to do exercise that way, so well done for keeping going so long. I have really tried to get into walking and it's been easier since I have put Dresden Files on an iPod

I don’t mind the exercise classes as it’s been giving us something to do and we do them together so it’s sociable. Zoom classes are better than no classes and we’ve learned Tai Chi exclusively in Zoom which works.
