Thank you to everyone who sent good wishes regarding the drippy, sneezy cold that Eldest Cee shared with me. I'm hoping that today is the worst day, so we officially declared a 'duvet day' and watched the ABC Murders reboot with John Malkovich. Did we enjoy it? David Suchet is Poirot. Always will be for me.... Same as Joan Hickson is Miss Marple (NOT just Marple - so rude!).

I don't deal well with change.... and while we are on the subject, Spike can only be played by James Marsters. Complete with dodgy English accent. Just saying....

Yes Suchet absolutely lives Poirot even though they mucked about with some of the stories it was pretty good. Same with Joan Hickson - she was perfect as Miss Marple.

I do get cross when they add stuff that isn’t needed. Christie knew her stuff and she had good plots. They need to leave them alone.

I am so glad that I got the little bird from your Etsy shop when I did, rather than as a Christmas present which would have been too late, as Mum really loved it. It is now in my conservatory with the original one I got from Writerconuk.

I decided not to watch the ABC Murders for several reasons, but I didn't enjoy last year's Christie adaptation and so wasn't too concerned about missing this one.

I'm glad your Etsy sales are going well.

That’s interesting. We still haven’t watched last years one and have it recorded. I think I might just delete it. So frustrating when they spend all that money in a production and it’s no good.

Thanks - slowly recovering although at one point I had a fever of 103! Not had something like that for a while ....
