The walk was fascinating - there is a book if you look at my reply to Kathyh there's a link.
The computer is fine and its a much needed upgrade because the old one was about 10 years old! Just such a pain not to have the wireless option. Apparently it's a legal issue and the simple Easy Transfer may come back again - I wish they had just said it wasn't an option!

The walk was really interesting. There's a book that gives loads of information (see link in first comment).
Apparently Microsoft pulled the option because of some legal wrangle about the security of the transfer wirelessly. It may come back, but I imagine they haven't publicised it because it's a long process if you have a large hard drive with lots of stuff like we have.
