I don't think about responding to daily prompts unless they're pushed into my attention, as yours are (and I mean that in the nicest of ways). So...science fiction. I've read a lot of it over the years. Fond of Heinlein and especially fond of Sturgeon, although his may be more in the fantasy bucket. And Alfred Bester. I haven't been keeping up on the new stuff, but every so often I run into one and enjoy it very much, like John Scalzi's 2022 romp, The Kaiju Preservation Society. If you haven't read it, do by all means get it from your library or get it for your Kindle. It's hilarious.
Your sourdough looks so perfect! And incredibly yummy.
When I was much much younger I like a lot of science fiction but these days I just don't and stopped reading it. I often wonder why because there was no one novel I ever hated, really. I still love historical fiction best.

I prefer science fantasy to science fiction... think Star Wars, rather than 2001 A Space Odyssey. Too much science detail puts me off, lol.
