I’ve seen that the National Gallery sometimes have tours of Longford House. It looks absolutely amazing and well worth a visit when possible.

I think I have learnt to accept that I am vintage too :)

It’s incredibly interesting and they pick you up from Salisbury station. There is so much stuff!

I’m not vintage - but strangely my Mum’s kitchen stuff is LOL!

That is one gorgeous property! And they have Murillos?

I am chuckling about what they call vintage these days. I still have some "vintage" I use frequently. I am older than you are and it amuses me when I see stuff I consider perfectly useful in antique shops.

I suppose it’s inevitable as you get older that childhood things become vintage but it does surprise me how much it’s selling for! LOL!

The castle is amazing (and it is a castle - I need to edit the entry as it’s not a house *g*)

That's pretty awesome that the castle is still being lived in, but shame you couldn't take any photos.

Yes it was a shame as I’d have liked to have looked at the photos of the paintings. I bought a really nice book about them instead ;)
