The 4th feels very distant from me here in Spain though I do get nostalgic about the traditions of my childhood sometimes. But then I put my US passport and my Spanish one next to each other and am grateful for both. After the weekend here we'll be over 40ºC every single day for the second half of July. Good thing we'll be in the UK the last week of the month.
Thanks! The vet thinks the harvest mite bite allergy Tippi has is worse than usual as she's been sitting in the flowerbeds. The bites make her really itchey, so she's had a steroid shot and she has to go back in four weeks to make sure she's put the weight back on. Otherwise she'll need some bloodwork done for things I don't want to think about...
Thanks - she's OK today. She's had a steroid shot to combat the really itchy skin she gets at this time of year (she's allergic to the harvest mites in the garden and she's been outside a lot recently sleeping in the flower beds).
