Yet another trip to an exhibition....

Yes, I went to London again and yes, I visited another exhibition! There's a lot of good stuff on at the moment!

Today's excursion saw me hopping on a train to the Tate Modern gallery to see the Hilma af Klint and Piet Mondrian exhibition. I fell in love with Piet Mondrian's work at the Kunstmuseum in The Hague in the Netherlands when we visited

I know virtually nothing about either of these painters. I am not much into abstract though I can recognize a good composition when I see one.
But I find it interesting that both artists did nature studies which is very soul soothing.

I am most definitely a Night Owl and have been all my life. It was a real struggle for me when I was working.

Thank you for the new rabbit hole -- Hilma af Klint. I've written her name on a piece of notepaper as a reminder to go back to her when I have a free moment. I love her botanical illustrations! The Mondrians that aren't his trademark grid of primary colors speak to me a lot more than his signature works.

The last time I was up all night was while I was doing the prep for an, ahem, age-appropriate procedure.

Also...I took a preliminary trip down the rabbit hole and found a quote from a New York Times review about the 2019 exhibition at The Guggenheim that I thought might amuse you: “If you like to hallucinate but disdain the requisite stimulants, spend some time in the Guggenheim Museum’s staggering exhibition.”
