I'm feeling guilty, because this was meant to be posted about six weeks ago, but I got busy with moving back into my flat and starting work for the year again. I found it huddled on my hard drive as I was doing a clean up.

This is sooo very good. The hope juxtaposed with the desolation. And Alec pulling Max back out of it and god, the ending. Ouch.

Thank you, thank you, thank you for this fic. Hell, all fics could come 6-weeks later and if they were this good, I wouldn't complain at all.

I wouldn't say no because it would be a lie but thats not it. It basically goes through the motions of What If?

I found it really weird that Max used to around Logan all the time, she was all over his place but they never touched or there was never Max's DNA or whatever you call it left around which could kill Logan. I mean c'mon, even human skin flakes off constantly in tiny patches, isn't there any of it around his house?

I found it a really weird concept, I mean what about all those plates or spoons she ate all those pasta dinners with? And if transgenic blood can cure him, where's the problem. Give him a full on blood transfusion and you can touch him for days on end. They did show that Max's blood lasted a lot of days.

Yeah anyway, so the fact that he dies and what Max feels is what makes it great. I don't think I could ever handle ML romance.
