To the people who say Japan deserves all this for what they did during World War II,
that this is karma for the bombing of Pearl Harbour

would you still be saying all this if you had friends or relatives trapped in the affected areas?

Natural disasters don't choose their victims. Have a heart and give help where it's needed.

I agree with you.

...Why do people also have time to bash around?

Isn't it convenient, how long some people's memories are sometimes, and how much they forget when it's contrary to their cause?
If anyone wanted to say the Japanese "got what they deserved" for Pearl Harbor, they could look at the MILLIONS who died immediately and later as a result of radiation when they got the crap bombed out of them (not that I approve of that, either :P) during that same era.
No, that's just racist nonsense and I can't believe people are stupid enough to say that. They'd come up with an excuse for why Africans deserved to be enslaved, too. :P

I can't stand that people say this. I don't think they realize the greater damage we cause by dropping two atomic bombs on them. Some people are just ignorant. It makes me embarrassed to be living in this country.

I'm glad you're safe though.

Hello, been stalking Twitter (which has trended both Hurricane Katrina and Pearl Harbour) for a couple of days now. A lot of hate, but also a lot of love. All I have to say is, douches will be douches. Try not to get offended, reason will speak for itself.

I was floored when I heard people were thinking that. That's just...terrible. I'm also willing to bet that most of the people affected had nothing to do with Pearl Harbor, so why should they "pay" for it?
