 1. Got up super early this morning to try to get in on time for my spn_reversebang claim! My computer was taking forever to start up so I thought I wasn't going to get what I wanted, but I did!!! I got my first choice! AWESOME. So, artist, if you see this, I would be very happy to hear from you, I want to talk to you and get started!! Then I went back to bed and ( Read more... )

I am in the same boat re: j2fightscrime. I've got a little over a thousand words and my posting date is also next week. Uh oh.

I'll beta for you if you beta for me?

whoo I'm not the only one! Not that I'm happy yours isn't flying along. I mean, my prompt is kinda awesome, but it's also hard. And yes, sounds like a plan! :D

I started writing my prompt as pure crack, but as I kept writing, it started to develop more and more actual plot. So I had to go back and rewrite a lot of it to make it slightly less cracky. And it's...bah, it's sort of a crime story? And I've never written anything like it and I have no fucking idea what I'm doing. It's probably super shitty.

Let's make the deadline Sept. 29, okay?

I hate (and sometimes love) when fic take on a life of their own! Can be very hard to deal with. And yeah, mine is demanding plot too when I'm much better with character studies. I guess this is what "stepping out of your comfort zone" is like!

Sounds good to me! *gets to it*

**Checks the claims post** Wow - you took that one? You're a braver author than I! (Technically, it's very well done, but the subject matter... well, I'm going to be very interested to read your story. Are you actually an evil genius? Just curious, I might be interested in a minion position if you have any open.)

Um. Now I'm nervous. Is there something about that prompt that I'm not getting? Because I thought it was a delicious premise that I can do lots with!

... but now that you mention it, I might be an evil genius. *strokes beard* Send in your application, resume and references, and I will consider you for a minion position.

And because I got so distracted by the prompt:

1. Where is that gif from? (I discovered Jensen late in life and have no clue, but my life might be changed)

2. If you need a beta, send me a PM. At the very least I can read it over and let you know whether or not I can help.

1. I truly don't know! I just got a random link and I swear, I stared at it for several minutes. And then had it open in a tab and kept coming back to it. I usually grumble at those that are all "young!Jensen is so twinky and pretty! I looove young!Jensen!" because I'm a big fan of all grown-up-manly-gruff Jensen, but. MY LIFE. IT HAS CHANGED. My guess would be Days of our Lives, or something like that? Which I haven't seen at all. *points to icon*

2. Thanks! maybe I will once I have some more down! :D

The gif is from the miniseries Blonde, which I have never seen but understand is very boring.

I've been told that the movie the gif comes from sucks in a way that's not even funny. So I content myself with imaginign a much better movie that it COULD have come from.

reaaally? Hm. Because the gif itself is really awesome, and I think it COULD come from an awesome movie. I'll just have to make it up in my head ;)

1. I was curious as to what your prompt could possibly be, after reading the comments above mine, so I had to go search for it. You are indeed a brave soul. XD I look forward to reading your fic! ;)

2. Do you have an iPod Touch as well? I've gotten into the (terrible) habit of checking my mail and flist in the mornings, before I even get out of bed, heh.

3. Speaking of which, I'm going to have to forgo my usual ritual of flist-checking in the morning tomorrow because I'm probably going to go to bed early tonight and not wait for an upload of the new episode (but if it happens to be uploaded before I go to bed...well... :>:>)

1. why does everyone say that?? You're making me nervous! But hah, thanks XD

2. I loooooooooooooooooooove mine. And heh, I already did that when I parked my laptop next to my bed ;) in a way, not having proper internet was good for that, as I couldn't be online in my room! But on the other hand, that meant it was even harder to get up in the morning as I couldn't slowly wake up over my e-mail.

... I may have issues. <.<

3. I already have it! :D :D Not sure what time zone you're in, though? So maybe you're already asleep, heh.
