I love this movie so damn much. The CGI and battle scenes are awesome but really makes it for me is the characters. There are so many scenes that, even after several viewings, have me choked up and crying and actually beaming with pride at the characters. When I first watched it I expected a bunch of stereotypes but that is for damn sure what these

I loved it too! Would have liked to get much more explanation on the aliens, but other than that it was a class act. Michelle's character was my favorite.

The lack of explanation about the aliens actually worked a lot better for me since we're seeing this from the POV of Nantz and his unit.

I expect that if they do a sequel that we'll get more about the aliens.
