I've always had a fascination with Scuba Diving and the oceans. I even took a scuba class in Boston, but never managed to get my dives in to certify. So when I started traveling around the world, I took a introductory dive in Hawaii, proved to myself that I still kinda knew what I was doing and that I did truly love it. Then I was in Australia and just bit the bullet and learned how to dive on the Great Barrier Reef. I took my advanced class then right afterwards, and had 20 dives under my belt before I knew it. Then it was diving diving diving in almost every stop I made. It's very hard to say what my favorite spot was. Australia, Philippines, Thailand, Red Sea all were phenomenal in their own way. I liked, but didn't love St. Lucia, and Texas Lakes and Stone quarries suck. There ya go.

We've only been diving in 4 spots so far (Puerto Rico, Aruba, Bahamas, Belize) and we need to go back to Puerto Rico to see if it really WAS the absolute best of the bunch so far or just amazing because it was our first dives. The boat rides are long, but the diving was amazing! Next stop is Bonaire. Can you imagine just walking along the road...seeing a yellow rock...in you go! No boat, no 3 hour waits...*sigh* Why am I living on the top of a mountain in Vermont again?
